EU Digital Identity Ecosystem
The European Digital Identity (EUDI) ecosystem involves multiple entities and components working together to enable secure, interoperable digital identity and credential exchange across EU member states.
Ecosystem Roles
The EUDI Wallet Architecture and Reference Framework (ARF) defines several key roles:
- PID Providers issue Person Identification Data (PIDs) to wallet holders
- QEAA Providers issue Qualified Electronic Attestations of Attributes
- EAA Providers issue Electronic Attestations of Attributes
- Wallet Providers offer EUDI Wallet solutions to users
- Relying Parties verify credentials presented by wallet holders
- Trust infrastructure including Trusted List Providers, registrars, and supervisory bodies
Procivis One Components
Procivis One provides solutions for multiple roles within this ecosystem:
Procivis One Issuer - Provisioning and lifecycle management solution for issuing PIDs, QEAAs, PuB-EAAs, and EAAs into any EUDI Wallet
Procivis One Verifier - Relying party solution for verifying credentials from any EUDI Wallet
Procivis One Wallet - EUDI Wallet SDK for building free-standing or embedded wallet applications
Procivis One Relying Party Registration and Trustlist - Trust management layer ensuring trust between verifiers, issuers, and credential holders
These components can be deployed independently or together, allowing organizations to participate in the EUDI ecosystem according to their specific role and requirements.
